Finishing up his last weeks in the second cohort of the Re-Empower program, Daniel Seabourn is currently a senior project engineer at Pratt & Whitney. He loves how the program looks at gaps in traditional work experience “through a different lens and finds talent in unusual places.” That unusual place in Seabourn’s case was volunteering abroad. Though it may not be traditional, he says the experience helped him “develop leadership skills, gain new perspective” and served as “a good bridge between design and management.”
