Pratt & Whitney and Pratt & Whitney Canada Recognize Airtomic-Sargent Aerospace and Defense with Supplier Sustainability Award

Pratt & Whitney and Pratt & Whitney Canada, United Technologies Corp. companies (NYSE: UTX), have awarded the Supplier Sustainability Award to Airtomic-Sargent Aerospace and Defense. Airtomic was recognized for its excellence in ethics and labor standards, environment, health and safety, aggressive conservation goals and community outreach.

Last year, Pratt & Whitney launched aggressive goals to reduce the environmental impact of its operations, suppliers and products. Pratt & Whitney's 2025 sustainability goals focus on waste, energy, water, safety and wellness, materials, suppliers and products. To achieve these goals, Pratt & Whitney is working closely with its suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders. The company's goal is for its suppliers to have world-class safety rates, meet aggressive resource conservation targets and be 100 percent green certified by 2025.
