“I’m in it for the long haul,” says Lindsay, who oversees construction and modernization for Otis Los Angeles. Lindsay joined Otis as an intern in 2006. After being hired full time, she enrolled in the Employee Scholar Program and earned a master’s degree in communications management from the University of Southern California.
Today she spends a good deal of her time talking to customers and other audiences about the new technological developments at Otis.
“Elevators have been around a long time. So it’s really cool to show people our totally new, high-tech products,” says Lindsay.
She is a firm believer in the power of communication. “How we talk to employees and customers has a direct effect on their perception of Otis. And that has a big impact on the business.”
