Visitors to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) will be emotionally moved by the exhibitions – and physically moved by Otis escalators – as the museum commemorates Black History Month for the first time in 2017.

United Technologies and Otis donated eight Otis NCE green escalators, valued at $2 million, to the museum, which opened last September.
