Kelli Parsons is Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for United Technologies Corp. In this role, she is responsible for the company's globally integrated communications and social impact strategy. Parsons leads external, internal and innovation communications, marketing, corporate social responsibility and corporate contributions.
Prior to joining UTC, Parsons served as head of communications and marketing for two Fortune 50 corporations and a global private equity firm, strengthening brand equity through periods of complex, large-scale change. During a decade of global public relations agency leadership, she demonstrated turnaround expertise and achieved profitable growth of the largest geographies, practices and client relationships. Parsons began her career as a journalist.
Parsons was selected by PR Week for its Power List and earned its Team of the Year award. She serves on the Arthur Page Society board of trustees. In her home state of Kentucky, Parsons founded scholarships to enable students to study abroad and to encourage women to pursue STEM careers. She earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor of arts from Murray State University.
