Senior Vice President & Chief Digital Officer

Vince Campisi was appointed Senior Vice President & Chief Digital Officer for United Technologies Corp. in June 2016. He leads United Technologies Digital, which drives the global strategic direction for digital operations across UTC’s aerospace and commercial buildings industries. His responsibilities include software development, user-design, data science and analytics, infrastructure services, cyber security, and product management and enterprise business systems management. His team identifies opportunities to accelerate what’s possible for UTC customers, employees and businesses.

Prior to joining UTC, Campisi served as Chief Operating Officer for GE Digital, where he was responsible for cybersecurity, business and cloud operations, with a focus on delivering software and analytics-based outcomes to boost productivity and customer value. 

Campisi started with GE in 1999 and progressed through various leadership positions in software development, information technology, quality and operations, including serving as GE Digital’s General Manager, Cloud Services & Chief Information Officer. Prior to GE Digital, he was CIO & Lean Leader for GE Intelligent Platforms; with GE Power as CIO & Quality Leader of Water & Process Technologies; with GE Corporate as its CIO within the Corporate Initiatives Group; and with GE Capital as an Executive Director, IT, and Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Campisi is a ‘Premier 100’ honoree from CIO Magazine and Computerworld, as well as a ‘Top 100 CIO/CTO Leader in STEM’ honoree. He received his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Marketing from the State University of New York at Albany.
