Operations Leadership Program
The OLP recruits annually July through December for cohorts starting the following June.
The OLP is UTC’s premier vehicle for recruiting and developing talent in manufacturing, quality, logistics and supply chain management. Hands-on program rotations enable participants to positively impact company operations today while gaining the skills and experience necessary to become future UTC business leaders.
About our program
Operations Leadership Program duration (24 months)
3 Rotations (8 months each)
Rotation assignments at UTC facilities throughout the United States
Throughout the program, you receive guidance and coaching from mentors, OLP alumni, and program champions at each business unit.
OLP associates rotate individually through three impactful eight-month assignments in various operations disciplines throughout UTC.
You will serve in three functional areas of Operations: Manufacturing, Supply Management and Quality
Additional opportunities for professional, career and leadership development include: week-long OLP training seminar during each eight-month rotation, executive and alumni networking events, and community volunteer activities.
You will develop: adaptability, initiative, lean knowledge, teamwork and forward thinking
Roles you will perform include: supply chain & logistics analyst, supplier performance analyst, cell leader, shop floor supervisor, manufacturing engineer and quality specialist
OLP candidates should have permanent, unrestricted work authorization in the United States. UTC also offers internships and co-op opportunities, and each business unit hires interns.
